Our First Post and What Happens When You Lose at NCAA Football 09

Well, this is the first post of "This Is Our Concern Dude," a place where my counterpart and I will pretty much ramble about anything we want. Anything we want will pretty much be contained in the realms of sports and pop culture, and hopefully it will be funny if nothing else.

First thing is first though, as you may have noticed, there is a screenshot of a West Virginia football player. Well, a good friend of ours made a bet with another friend that he'd beat him in NCAA Football 09. The loser of the bet got slapped...and as you will see in the video, hilarity ensued.



The overwhelming favorite in the match-up picked the OSU Buckeyes and ended up getting owned by Pat White and West Virginia. This resulted in being on the wrong end of a Pride Obliterating Bitch Slap.

I think that this is a hell of a start for this blog. One post in, and we are already promoting bitch-slapping the hell out of people. Nice.

For the record, I have beaten that little bastard probably 15 times... Usually beating him by more than my spread of 16...in fact, I had beaten him by at least that much 2x earlier in that day. And I'll still SpLaser his face off

This emerald colored sprite is your 2009 Slam Dunk Champ. This doesn't bother me because of the dunks Nate Robinson did. His dunk where he jumped over Dwight Howard in the finals was downright epic, even if he needed to push off Dwight's shoulder and still rubbed his junk on Dwight's head. He's like 5'8 and jumped over a 7 footer...and then he dunked a basketball. I'm 6ft tall and I can barely touch rim with no one in my way. I also admit that the green jersey to make him Kypto-Nate to Dwight Howard's "Superman" was a nice touch. The thing is... Dwight Howard should have won, but he did his dunks in the wrong order. For his 2nd dunk in the first round, he brought out a 12 foot hoop, ducked into a phone booth, came out in his Superman cape, and threw in a Jameer Nelson pass off the backboard with ease. Between the theatrics and the actual dunk, this was my favorite dunk of the night. He got a 50 on the dunk, which is a perfect score for those uned...

Wanted to get a quick post in congratulating the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on making it to the World Series. Hold on, one more thought, I just got word that Coach K is dropping the word Devil from the Blue Devils team name this fall in hopes of not bowing out in the second round yet again. And yes, that was the absolute worst post title I could come up with.

There are too many good video games coming out, and my wallet is going to hurt

With all the pre-ordering that my card is going to be suffering in the coming months, I feel like I should buy an "I'm sorry" card and place it directly into my wallet.  Not to mention my social life outside of video games. So long, all three friends I have outside the digital world. So long, whatever hours I considered sleeping in. Come to think about it, this may be one of those situations where spending money might actually result in me saving money.  Oh, what's that? You want me to come out with you and be in public and be around people I don't feel like being around and spending $5,000 on a poorly made house vodka and Red Bull? GET LOST, NERDS!! I've been trying to find some games to invest in which will occupy my time while I'm inevitably banned from communications because some turd reported me for WHOOPIN' DAT ASS in Rocket League. I broke it down to my top 3, with an honorable mention...because that's how awards are given out nowadays...
